Email notification not sent when sharing dashboard with a group

Hello,

It seems that email notification is only sent when a dashboard is shared with a user.
If dashboard is shared with a group, no email notification is sent to group users.

Is it normal or am i missing something ?

I’m pretty sure this is normal.

Do you know by chance if it worked correctly? Did the whole group get access to the dashboard?

Hi Spahlala,

It is normal behavior.

It will likely be preferred default experience for use case if User is member of multiple groups to avoid high number of notifications. I will message you privately to understand more on use case.
