Enable drill up/down for only required visuals not to entire dashboard

Hi,

I have 4 sheets with multiple visuals in a Quicksight dashboard. Is there a way to enable drill up/down for only one of the required visuals in that dashboard sheets?

When I publish the dashboard, I can apply those advanced settings only to the entire dashboard by selecting the check box (Enable drill Up/down) and not to select visuals in the dashboard.

Please, let me know If there is any option to achieve this ?

Thank you for reaching out to us. While the drill up/down feature applies to the entire dashboard when enabled, there’s an alternative approach you can use to achieve similar functionality for specific visuals:

Custom Actions - You can add custom actions to individual visuals (up to 10 actions per visual) that provide interactive drill-down capabilities.

Custom actions allow you to:

  • Filter data on specific visuals

  • Navigate to different sheets

  • Open URLs

  • Create context-specific interactions
