Filter data based on date with deleted data also should include if I go back to previous date before deletion

I have problem, my dataset is pasted below:

node1 date is_deleted
n1 23-02-2025 0
n2 23-02-2025 0
n3 23-02-2025 0
n4 25-02-2025 0
n5 26-02-2025 0
  1. if I select 25/02 in date picker then it should show 4 nodes till the mentioned date.
  2. on 26/02 I have deleted the n3 then it shouldn’t be showed in the visual. Is_deleted will become 1 and I want is_deleted =1 excluded from the visual.
  3. Now Total of 4 nodes should be displayed on visual till date (27-02)
Now I select a date before the deletion happens then it should show n3 node till that selected date.

Is there any possible way to implement this in Quicksight. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

hi @Nazhur

Am i oversimplifying in suggesting you just add a filter to exclude is_delete=1?

Thanks
Ramon

@Ramon_Lopez Thank you for your reply.

adding a filter to exclude is_delete = 1 will work but my expectation is:
When I deleted a node on 26/02, it will be excluded from the visual and what if I want to select a date less than deletion date i.e., 26/02, Then the deleted node should be present in the visual.
it is like deleted node shouldn’t be in the visual date greater than or equal to deletion date and deleted node should present date less than deletion date. This is my ask.

HI @Nazhur

Question about the data. When deleting the node, does it create a new row for n3 or does it add a new row for n3?

As for the solution i think you just need a calculated field that implements the logic you want to filter.

Have you tried creating an example in Arena? With that one detail on the data i can create and share an example here.
