Feature Request: Enhanced Filtering Options for Quick Search

Hello QuickSight Team,

I’d like to suggest an improvement to the Quick search functionality that would greatly enhance the user experience. In case

Current Challenge:
When searching for elements within Quick using dashboard names, the results often include too many dashboards and datasources, (think about searching “WBR Dashboard“ making it difficult to quickly find what I need. This has been an ongoing challenge since QuickSight’s inception.

Proposed Solution:
Could we implement additional filtering options that would allow users to:

  • Filter by author/creator

  • Filter by team

  • Filter by object type (dashboard, data source, etc.)

These enhanced filtering capabilities would significantly improve navigation efficiency and help users locate specific resources more quickly, especially in environments with numerous dashboards and data sources.
