Grouping & Ungrouping in Pivot Table

Hi All,

I’m working on sales and revenue data. I quicksight to create grouping automatically. For example, 10-15 sales, 15-20 sales, etc.

This kind of option is available in excel. Do we have the similar option or an alternative available in Qu
grouping_pivot
icksight. For the reference, I have attached the screen shot of excel.

Hi,

This is not related to the ifelse. For ifelse conditions, we have to fix the scale(it won’t be dynamic). But, I’m referring to the feature that is given by excel. For example, today if my sale is from 0 to 20, automatically, buckets will be created based on 5 or 10 slab which would come 0-5,5-10,10-15,15-20. We can achieve this using ifelse condition. But, in future, if the sales number go to 50. I would require another buckets like 20-25,25-30.30-35,etc… Excel pivot can do it automatically based on the data range using grouping feature. Hope I am clear now with the requirement.

Hi,

Thanks for responding and sorry for the delay.

Histogram doesn’t solve my problem. I was referring to the excel Pivot feature. Histogram can only show visual presentation for a single KPI.

@salagalakiran123 -
QuickSight does not automatically create the range buckets, you would have to define those ranges using the if/else logic mentioned by @Koushik_Muthanna. I will mark this as a product feature request.
