Hi,
We are using a heatmap visual to display average counts by day and hour, with the days of the week as rows and hours of the day as columns.
The db table has dates only for which the count is present. So to get a static grid of size 7X24, we tried creating a dataset query by joining the count table with a static table.
This approach works as expected for the analysis and dashboard in quicksight console, but once embedded into the application, the rows and columns with all null values are no longer visible.
And this is the visual with the same parameter values once embedded in the application. The Sat and Sun rows are missing and some of the hours as well.
Hi @KanikaDidwania,
One additional thing to note, QuickSight now supports certain highchart visuals to be added; one of the available visuals you can create is a Calendar Heatmap. Take a look at the DemoCentral view to see additional information on how to get started (located on ‘Samples’ sheet).
Since we have not heard back from you, I’ll go ahead and close/archive this topic. However, if you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new topic in the community and link this discussion for relevant information.
