My goal is to run two reports from SalesForce, import the data to Quick, then use these for team metrics, tracking. When creating a new dataset from Quick for Salesforce, I complete the login request using our custom domain (aws-crm.lightning.force.com) with my SSO id then receive this error, "OAUTH_APP_BLOCKED”. I’ve followed the “Creating a dataset from Salesforce” guide at Creating a dataset from Salesforce - Amazon Quick but cannot get past this error. Do I need to submit a ticket to get access to Salesforce data from Quick?
Hi @Mostrat
Welcome to the Quick community!
Salesforce is blocking the login attempt from Quick. Contact your Salesforce administrator to unblock Quick access. The OAUTH_APP_BLOCKED error occurs when Salesforce administrators block unrecognized or untrusted connected apps during OAuth authentication flows, such as when connecting Quick datasets to Salesforce reports. This is a standard Salesforce security feature and not specific to AWS, but it prevents the Quick connector from completing login via your SSO enabled custom domain.

Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. Were you able to see Xclipse’s reply and/or find a solution yourself in the meantime? If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, please feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
