How to add Report Title and Date in Excel/CSV report

Hi Team,

I need to add Report Title , Start Date and End Date in Excel and CSV file. when user will download the report from Quicksight then the report title and date should be there as first three row in Excel or CSV.

Ex. Report Name"- Booking Report
Begin Date: Jun 01, 2025
End Date : Jun 10, 2025

I tried with calculated filed with parameter but id does not work.

Please let me know if you tried this way.

Step 1 - Create parameters for all 3 as shown below
For report title you can give default value to begin with.

Step 2 - Go to the properties of visual → click on Display Settings and click on Edit Title

Step 3 - Add parameters created and save

Step 4 - Export to Excel/CSV - you can find the values on the top row -

Can we print these three parameter output on three row instead of one row?

As the option provided above is more of a work around as opposed to a feature you can adjust, you are unable to have these outputs populate in different rows.

You could add one of the lines to your ‘subtitle’ section; when exporting to an excel file, that will create 2 separate rows, one for your title and one for your subtitle. But I don’t think there’s a great way (work around or not) to default a 3rd row to populate.
