How to add somone as an author?

Hi, I have trouble adding someone as an author to Quicksight. They are in the qs-user-global-it-author group but still have no author permission.

Welcome to Quicksight and thank you for posting your question.

So is that user already a QS user and have other permissions like READER ? and you want to make that person as AUTHOR?

If yes, then you can click on Manage QuickSight which will be on top right corner and on the left select ‘Manage users’ and there you should see the users and their assigned role. You can change it from there.
