How to Add tooltip in text

Hi Team,

I have text (!) in my dashboard, this text field is used to know the information.

So, I want to add the tooltip in that text (!) field, but I don’t find tooltip option on that text (!) field.

Could you please help me to add the tooltip on text (!) field.

This is image, but I want to replace that image to text field (!). And I want add tooltip on that text field (!).

Hi ErikG,

General text field “ ! “ , on this text field I want to add tooltip, I have gone to that field properties, I not found any tooltip option, please see the below screen shot for your reference.

If you use a fix text you could use a image with tooltip.

Create a (!) image
Insert image
Add tooltip

Hi ErikG, thank you for your Answer, previously I have used the image for information (!), but now I have another requirement has come, that requirement also uses the image only, QuickSight currently allowed us to use 10 images only, more than 10 images QS not allowed, that’s why reason I want to convert information image to information text and display tooltip on that text

HI @Cnagabhairava,

I believe you cannot workaround this via the text field. It seems like images are the only types of visuals that allow you to simply output text, and tooltips from regular visuals are just for displaying other fields, calculated fields, parameters, etc.

I would recommend reaching out to AWS Support by creating a support ticket, as they may be able to provide further assistance in that point or an alternative approach!
