How to Check If My Amazon Quick Sight Free Trial Is Still Active?

I started the Amazon Quick Sight free trial about a month ago but deleted my Quick Sight account before the trial ended. Now, when I try to access Quick Sight, it prompts me to create a new account, but I still see an option to get started with 4 users directly—without the Enterprise edition option.

I want to confirm whether my free trial is still active or has expired. Since I previously used the trial, I’m unsure if I can re-enable it or if I need to purchase a subscription.

What’s the best way to check my Quick Sight trial status? Are there any specific AWS billing reports, service quotas, or other indicators I should review?

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @Francis_Joel - Welcome to AWS Quick Sight community and thanks for posting the question. Ideally QS free account is for 30 days. Since you have deleted your account earlier, you will not get charged but if you are using same aws account, there is a possibility the new account may not come under free trial. I will advise to raise a support ticket and confirm the same.

Tagging @DylanM @duncan for their quick suggestion on this.

Hi @Sanjeeb2022,

Thanks for your response! Could you guide me on how to raise a support ticket for this? Should I do it through the AWS Support Center, or is there a specific category I should select for Quick Sight-related billing and trial inquiries?

Appreciate your help!

Hi @Francis_Joel - Yes, you can use aws account login and search for support and then submit a ticket under billing category.

Hello @Francis_Joel, I am with @Sanjeeb2022 on this. I think it is highly likely that if you create a new Quick Sight account, it will charge your AWS account. I would definitely submit the support ticket to confirm, but I wouldn’t anticipate a continuation of the free trial.
