I have a column with values that indicates a relative between two other fields. And I want to only shows the data bars without the values.
Hi @PedroRodriguezxX,
Could you share a screenshot of the ‘format visual’ pane that is linked to this visual so that we can evaluate the possible options? Ideally, expand the area that has information about the data bars.
Hi @PedroRodriguezxX,
Thank you for sharing! Unfortunately this is currently a limitation in QuickSight as there is not an option to remove the text in place of a data bar.
One workaround you could try though would be to change the text color in that column through setting up conditional formatting. You can set an obscure number and choose the ‘does not equal’ option so that all cells within that column would always apply to the conditional format rule.
Then change the color to white (you’ll need to unselect the option for ‘alternate row colors’ as well under the cells dropdown). That way your text will be white against the cell background of white.
The only thing with this is that if the data bar overlaps the number(s), it may still show.
I’ll go ahead and mark this as a feature request as well though as that would be a useful option to have.
Thank you!
