How to sort a date filter using the Month name?

Hello community.
I have this problem, I have a dashboard where I’m using a date dimension table to get all data related to the time.
My customer wants to add a filter using the Month name (JANUARY, FEBRUARY, MARCH…) to filter by the transaction month.
The problem is that adding the data into the filter, using my database values or manual values, Quicksight is showing the values sorting them in alphabetical order, but the request is to show them in cronological order.

How can I implement that feature in Quicksight?

You can create a calculated field where you have only the month number and set the sort option to that new field.

Thank you so much for your response. Sorry but I didn’t catch your point.
How do I define a sorting column in a filter? I can’t find the option there.

The image above is how Quicksight is showing us the filter, sorted by alphabetilca order insted or cronological.

Unfortunately I don’t think this is possible in Quicksight at the moment. Here is a previous similar request: Date filter for MONTH: time granularity can't be month?. I’ve marked this as a feature request.
