Inquiry about embedding dashboards with QuickSight

I have a couple of questions regarding the embedding of QuickSight dashboards into an external website:

  1. Could you please confirm if the only way to enable embedding is by upgrading to the $250 per month subscription?
  2. Is there any possibility to test the embedding feature for free and then proceed with the subscription after the integration and launch of the website?
