I want to add text to my dashboard that includes a calculated field. See attached image.
It seems like this is NOT possible, but wanted to confirm that. Would it work if it was a field native to the data set and not a calculated field? Could I pass the value of the field to a parameter and reference the parameter in the text box?

In regards to your last point about parameters, using a calculated field for that may be tough but in reference to a field native to your data set, using a parameter would be the easiest way. You can edit your title or use a text box and you’ll receive an option to add in a parameter value (see below example)
In regards to using a calculated field though, have you explored the insight visuals? These are a nice way to add text in with a calculated field. There are suggested options provided to you in Quick Sight or you can create a custom one.
