Hello,
I have a dataset, which is a jointure of 2 other dataset, I set up an automatic refresh on hourly basis.
During the night the refresh failed and the error is INVALID_DATAPREP_SYNTAX – Your calculated field expression contains invalid syntax. Correct the syntax and try again.
I don’t modify anything during the night first failed occured at 1.00 A.M and previous worked well.
How I can find the calculated field which lead the failure? I open all and saved it and I have no error message.
Hi @Fella1 - Welcome to AWS QuickSight community and thanks for posting the questing. Can you please create a sample analysis and use the calculated field and see whether any error is there or not. Also in dataset panel you can validate sample data as well. if there is any error or data preparation stage, QuickSight will throw the error.

Thank you for letting us know. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
