Need some help for a formatting issue.
When I added a new Visual and reorder the visual layers (for example sending the new visual to the back (bottom layer of all visuals) or just send it backward to the previous visual) , then all the coloring format settings to the current visuals will disappear, then I’ll have to reformat one by one (for example the existing visuals have black colored background and white text for header, or blue colored cells, all of these settings disappeared after sending the new visual to the back).
Is there anyway to reorder the layer without impacting the formatting for the existing visuals?
Hello @danddong, my apologies for the delayed response. I want to make sure I am correct on this, because I have definitely experienced something similar. Basically, are you duplicating a visual, replacing some of the fields that are inside of the visual, and then losing the conditional formatting that you have applied? Unfortunately, as soon as you start manipulating the fields that are being used, it does start to remove the formatting that you have created. This has often made me rebuild something multiple times. Besides the formatting that can be implemented within the theme of the dashboard, there aren’t any other work-arounds available to my knowledge.
I will go ahead and tag this as a feature request since I think this would be an impactful update for formatting. If you have any further questions on this issue, please let me know. Otherwise, I will archive this topic for our Support team. Thank you!
