I have a dataset that updates every hour and shows orders. I have created a line graph which shows orders every hour, for example if the table has max order_day_hour as “2023-09-07 10:00:00” it means it has data fro 10 am to 11am. But when I pull the table in Quicksight it shows data only till 10am as shown below, I am want even 11 am to be present in the chart
Hello @Quicksight_beginner , my thought is you could set 2 relative date parameters that you can use to filter this line graph and just use the date-time stamp field attached to each order as your x axis.
Create a start date that will have a default as Start of This Day
then create an end date parameter as End of This Hour
. Then filter by the date value using these two parameters. I will include a screen shot of the end date parameter being created below:
Let me know if this helps!
Hello @Quicksight_beginner, did my answer help resolve your issue in QuickSight? If so I can mark it as a solution to the topic you posted.
Hi,
I like to understand why you have repeat of time on X-Axis. Is it required as per your use case or some issue with data processing. Are you configuring date+time or only time on x-axis. You can adjust number of data points to show formatting option for line chart and data zoom adjust number of data points.
