Missing rows in uploaded excel file

Hello,

I uploaded an excel file which contains 93 rows (so it does not reach the row limit) as a dataset, however, in quicksight, certain rows are missing (while having the same format as other exiting rows). I also tried to convert the excel workbook to .csv, but the rows are still missing.
Could you tell me what may cause this issue? Thanks.

Hi @Xiyang

Welcome to the Quick Sight community!

Quick Sight provides an error summary and import logs on the dataset details page under the Refresh tab that can be used to identify exactly which rows were skipped and why. This report includes error types, column names, and specific data causing import issues, along with a downloadable error rows file for detailed troubleshooting.

Please refer to the below documentations this might be helpful for you.

Hi @Xiyang - Please check the data type, possibly there is some bad records which is not able to read by QS.

Regards,

Sanjeeb
