New Issue with “maximize” on all charts

We are having an issue with the ‘maximize’ option on all visuals across all dashboards (including embedded ones)
where the expanded visuals don’t enlarge (they are kept small in the corner of a blank screen) - and all visuals are skewed when minimized back again

Hey @Yuval.Shiboli, I did a quick test on my end and I am not noticing this same issue. Just a few things to check to see if we can find a resolution.

  1. Are other users in your account experiencing the same issue?
  2. What browser are you using to view the dashboard?
  3. In the embedded view, are you embedding the entire Quick console, or a single dashboard?
  4. What region is your Quick account in?

I am hoping we can pinpoint an issue without submitting a support ticket, but that may be a required course of action here.

Hey @DylanMorozowski , thanks for reaching out.

  1. all users experience it
  2. I tested it on Chrome, Edge and Firefox - the issue is consistent across all browsers
  3. it happens on all visuals across all dashboards on our account- embedded and not embedded
  4. our account is on us-east-1

Hello @Yuval.Shiboli, I appreciate the follow-up information. I think you may be in a position where you will need to submit a support ticket with AWS. Does your AWS account include support?

Is there an update on this from AWS? I am experiencing similar scaling issues in Amazon Quick for charts.

Hi @Yuval.Shiboli and @jasanderson,
Following up here; are either of you still encountering this same behavior when maximizing visuals?
I just tested this out in a couple different environments to check but my visuals are enlarging accurately so I’m wondering if this bug/error has been fixed in the system.

Please confirm if this has been corrected in your environment!

Thank you

Full-screen charts do appear to be scaling appropriately now.

In a related inquiry, I indicated scaling issues with charts inside of tiles (not in full-screen).

At the time, tiles were not scaling properly if the default Sheet setting of 1600px was used. Testing now, it appears the default of 1600px now scales properly within the tiled analyses as well.

Hi @Brett , I tested it now on my environment- it seems to be ok.
It takes the charts a second or so to scale after you expand their visuals - so it feels a little jumpy - but at least now they scale.

I have a ticket opened with AWS support about that- I didn’t yet get a “we found it and fixed it” message- so I’ll keep waiting for an update.

Thank you to both of you for confirming. I’ll mark this as solved for the time being; if you notice any additional issues, please feel free to create a new post in the community!
