First of all Welcome to the QuickSight Community.!
Is your table too big ? how many Rows & Columns are we talking here ?
if the issue is with only Row Total I would suggest to raise a AWS support ticket and report the issue. This will help AWS team to gather and identify the exact cause of the issue.
