I am using a Points On Map visual in Amazon QuickSight, where the geospatial fields are Latitude and Longitude. I have added Property Group to the Color field, so it appears in the legend as expected.
However, when I click on any value in the Property Group legend, the entire map goes blank. It seems like selecting a legend item is filtering the map to a point where no data is displayed, but I’m unsure what exactly is causing this behaviour.

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Is there a specific setting or configuration I should check to prevent the map from disappearing when selecting a legend value?
When testing this out I experienced the same issue where when I tried clicking on one of the values in the legend the entire visual went blank. I would recommend submitting a support ticket as I do not think this behavior is supposed to happen. Refer to this resource on how to submit a ticket (Case management - AWS Support).
In the meantime, I believe I did find a workaround. If you create a Filter Action to your visual, I was able to click on any value in my legend, and it appropriately filtered the visual without the whole visual going blank. As long as you set the Activation option to ‘Select’ then I believe it should work properly for you.
