Possible recent bug in Pivot Table Filter Interaction

I’ve noticed what appears to be a bug in AWS QuickSight with a Filter interaction on a Pivot Table visual.

When I click on a cell in the pivot table, all values and formatting in the other cells disappear. The visual remains in this state even when clicking a different cell, clicking outside the visual, or clicking elsewhere on the dashboard.

What’s particularly strange is that the display only returns to normal when I click the row resize handle (not the column resize handle — only row resizing seems to trigger the refresh), or when I reset the dashboard.

So far, I’ve tried deleting and recreating the interaction, removing and recreating conditional formatting, and refreshing and reviewing dashboard filters. None of these actions resolved the issue.

The behavior occurs across multiple dashboards that are based on different datasets, so it doesn’t appear to be data-related.

Has anyone else experienced this issue recently?

Thank you for your detailed outline of the situation! I was able to replicate it and confirm that I received the same behavior on my end. This is definitely not the intended behavior that should be experienced.
