Provide Access to different users

I think they’re getting the account name and their username mixed up. The account name that the message is referring to is the name of the AWS account - it’s not their username. The account name is in the email that they received but I think it’s easy to miss. If you open the dropdown menu at the top right of your Quick Sight console, you’ll see the account name above “Manage Quick Sight”. Ask them to enter that in the first step.

To log in, they have to enter 3 different pieces of information:

  1. Quick Sight account name
  2. Email address or username
  3. Password

The account name is needed because the same email address or username can be used in different Quick Sight subscriptions.
