Publish any Analisys to any Dashboard feature

Hi,

I have just read this new feature :
Amazon QuickSight launches dashboard versioning and publish any analysis to any dashboard - What’s New / Blog - Amazon QuickSight Community

The versioning I can find ok and it looks really useful but I don’t understand how to use the publishing any analysis to any dashboard .

My understanding is that if I had analysis A with dashboard A and analysis B with dashboard B before I could only always update A with A and B with B but now I could use Analysis B and publish to dashboard A and vice versa. At least is how I understand this feature.

I’m trying to test this but when publishing an analysis I only ever see the option to publish to only the related dashboard I don’t see other dashboards in the list.

Can anyone explain if there is something specific I have to do or if I just understood the feature wrong?

Hi @Dom,

This feature isn’t available in all accounts yet. I have 2 accounts and I see it in one but not in the other.

The UI looks different. When you publish your dashboard, there’s now an option to browse all dashboards and select a different one to replace.
