Published and replaced existing dashboard but numbers are different from Analyses

Hi everyone,

Any one knows the reason why data in Analyses is different from the dashboard after republish?

On the top is what I see in the Analyses, the bottom is what the numbers look like after I published and replaced the existing dashboard:

If I save the Analyses as a new dashboard then there’s no issue. Has anyone run into the same problem?

Hi @Cherly
any parameter/filter set on the dashboard?

Thanks Erik, it does link to some parameters in another tab.

So it is filtered with these parameters?

Yes, some other visuals also used the same time period filter but under different tabs, changing the time period in another tab also changed the number in the main tab.

Hello @Cherly and @ErikG !

@Cherly were you able to find a solution for this issue, or were @ErikG 's comments helpful? If so, could you either share the solution you found or mark one of the comments above as the solution to help the community?

I have run into a similar issue, what I found was that I was not accounting for parameter defaults that I had set while troubleshooting so when I published things did not look how I expected.

Hello @Cherly and @ErikG !

@Cherly are you still running into this issue or were you able to find a workaround? If so could you share your solution to help the community?

Again, my suggestion is to double check your parameter default settings before publishing.

Hello @Cherly !

It has been some time since we have heard from you but would still like to help find a solution. If we do not hear from you in the next 3 business days this topic will be archived.
