We’re unable to get research to work with the new topics. We’re relying on topics and research for production use cases. How do we switch back to legacy/classic topics?
Welcome to the community! The QuickSight team is aware about this issue and working on a solution to bring the classic topic back. Meanwhile you can create a topic via API, then configure it in console as before.
Use the CLI:
aws quicksight create-topic
–aws-account-id <ACCOUNT_ID>
–topic-id <YOUR_TOPIC_ID>
–topic ‘{…}’
Since you are having production issue, I recommend you open a support case to follow up.
