Quick Spaces and Permissions/Privacy

I like the spaces feature, but I need to create private spaces that only I can access. Right now, spaces seem to be linked to our team’s Quick account, so others can see them. I sometimes need to use AI assistants to review confidential documents that shouldn’t be shared with the whole team. Is there a way to create truly private spaces for this kind of sensitive work?

Hi @praandre and welcome to the Quick Community!

While you can control who has access to each space clicking the ‘Share’ button within your space; this does not control access to any of the assets that are within your space. Each asset has it’s own access. So while someone may not have access to a space, they could still have access to one of the items within.

So my suggestion would be to create a new chat agent and designate it to those private needs. Once you’ve created, no other users should have access to the chat agent as it will not be shared with anyone else upon creation.

If you’d like to remove access from an asset that’s already created, just navigate to that access, open the ‘share’ option and remove un-needed users.

Let me know if you have any additional questions

Thank you Brett - I have one more follow-up question. I’ve created an agent as you suggested, and kept the files I don’t want others to have access to, within the specific files uploaded to that agent. One of the ways I work with AI, is at the end of a session, I re-cap the work we’ve done. Is there a way for Quick to automatically update a daily session text file on my behalf, without my having to manually generate it, save it, and then re-upload it to the agent? Either using an existing connector, or otherwise? Thank you!

Hi @praandre,
I can’t say for certain if this is currently possible but you may be able to configure something similar through the integrations section:

The ‘action’ integration options call APIs and handle actions in external applications so you may be able to set this up in that way
