Is there an option to restrict authors from being able to upload source files (e.g. CSV, JSON etc ) to create a new dataset on Quick Sight?
Hi @hay964 - Welcome to AWS Quick Sight and thanks for posting the question. I think it is NOT possible to restrict a user to upload the files in Quick Sight and allow other data sources. By saying that let’s hear from other experts.

I am afraid it is not possible to restrict authors to upload the files into Quick Sight in creating dataset. I will file this as feature request.
