QuickSight Mobile (QuickSuite) – Default Region Resets to Account Region Instead of Dashboard Region

Since the recent update that changed the mobile app to QuickSuite, the default region selection on mobile behaves differently than before.

Currently, the app automatically selects the account’s home region as the default, instead of the region where all my dashboards are actually hosted and viewed.
Every few logins, I’m forced to manually switch the region again, which is frustrating and interrupts workflow.

This issue does not occur in the web version—only in the mobile app.

My questions:

  1. Is there a known workaround for keeping the correct region selected on mobile?

  2. Is it possible to define a default region for viewing dashboards at the account or user level, specifically for the mobile app?

  3. If not—can this be added as a feature request?

Thank you for bringing this to attention, unfortunately, I’m not seeing any documentation that highlights the ability to pre-set the region within the app.

I will mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team!
