Relative Dates Filter

Hello community,

I have created a timestamp filter and pinned the filter to top. Please find the details of the filter below and the question is when I selected Last 2 months it should be from today to last 2 months (Jan 1 - Feb 29), but instead it shows (Feb 1 - March 31) which doesn’t makes sense and all the visuals are getting effected because of this. I have attached the picture of filter to reflect the same and is there a work around to properly show last 2 months?

Thanks in advance,

Hi @Manoj_Virigineni
i guess the issue is that to day is March 1 and therefore it is March.
What if “exclude last 1 month”?

Hi @ErikG,

Thanks for the reply. If I exclude last one month and if I select last 1 month in “Select Time Frame” it defaults to March1 - March 31. As my data gets crawled once a day for last day, there won’t be any data especially today (because of March 1) and visuals won’t show any data.

Thanks,
Manoj

Can you try

Thanks for your suggestion and tried that, in the “Select Time Frame” box it says Last 3 months but the dates below shows from Jan 1 - Feb 29 which is only 2 months (I know I have excluded Last 1 month). The reason am pressing this issue is, think from the consumer point of view in the “Select time frame” box it says Last 3 months but the dates are only for 2 months (again I know I have excluded Last 1 month) but what it says in the “Select Time Frame” and what it shows below “Select Time Frame” are contradicting and that’s my whole point.

If user should be able to select, he could select anything anyway.

Maybe you can go with 60 day?
But at the end going with month and you dont want March on March 1, when would be the point where you want March?

Or you are going with two parameter “start” and “number of days”

Thanks for the suggestion and yes it’s not a big issue because user can pick whatever he wants. Am just trying to point out what I have noticed.
