We are exploring using quicksight for reporting on AWS spend. Since AWS CUR data is in US$, we are currently using a third party tool to convert the values at source into AUD and report the cloud spends in AUD. I would like to explore if there is a way to translate the CUR data into local currency using a monthly currency table and use that to report in Quicksight. Further, does Quicksight have any inbuilt currency conversion rates?
Currently QuickSight doesn’t have inbuilt currency conversion , will flag this as feature request .But we can do a workaround by doing conversion at the the QuickSight dataset level by joining monthly currency table and do the conversion using calculated field.
