I’m moving from Power BI to quicksight. Previously in Power BI I can set the size of the dashboard like 16:9 (1280 x 720) now in Quicksight I can’t find where to set the sizing of the dashboard
Even I use setting in analysis it’s only ask me to choose to 1600px but no height can be setup.
And everytime I add more visuals, the size will drag more.
I tried to google I only found it for paginated reports not for the analysis.
Is there any solution for this?
Hi @Sanjeeb2022 so it couldn’t be fixed size? we need to roughly figure for it right?
Not like in Power BI it fixed size, so we can’t put chart bigger than the size of the page…
hi @consultantcon ,
Yes you are right for the dashboard sizing we have only 5 options to choose like below.
Yes in other BI tool there are multiple resolution options with (H*W).
Lets see in coming QuickSIght releases they added this layout resolution option.
If you need to be added as a feature request, please provide the details in requirement so that we can request QuickSight team to add as a feature request in product roadmap.
hi @Sanjeeb2022 now in current world we are not only used our dashboard in our system only but also we are use our dashboard in Tablet, Mobile Phones and other electronic gadget. So for this purpose in QuickSight we don’t have the exact layout options available. Only some default sizes are there. If we need to custom the size in QuickSight that is not possible to do.
As a end user they must have the flexibility to see the analysis/dashboard by the custom size not only the defined/fixed size.
So kindly if possible you can raise a request to the AWS Community team to look upon this area.
Hi @Max@Kristin - Can you have a look on this requirement and add as a feature request. This is really required for improve the customer experience of QuickSight while compare with other BI tools.
