I want to create a table that help to visualize mistakes made by users. When the table is empty, everything is fine. However, if there is a row means that someone will have to take the necessary actions, therefore this row will disappear from the table as soon as the user do the necessary changes.
This table(if necessary), should have an email address with the person that will have to take actions. Ideally, we want the dashboard to notify the user automatically. Is this possible? if not, is there any alternative?
I am thinking that adding this column(email address) to the table will help with the automation, maybe not.
Hi @jgrueso,
This exact type of functionality is not quite achievable currently through QuickSight. The only option you have for setting up alerts would be threshold alerts. You would need to use some type of number system to set off the alert and I don’t believe it would be able to react to the Email address row for who it would sent to.
I can mark this as a feature request for the support team as well.
Hi @jgrueso,
Since I’ve already marked this as a feature request and we have not heard back, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic. However, if you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new post in the community.
