Unable to create Slack connector on sophon-prod (eu-west-1) - Professional licence

Hi, I’m having an issue with my Amazon Quick sophon-prod account in the Ireland (eu-west-1) region. I have a Professional licence but I’m unable to create connectors — the “Create for your team” tab under Connectors is empty. I need to set up a Slack connector for automated reporting. Could you advise on what’s needed to enable this?

Hi @licidavi and welcome to the Quick Community!

This is a subscription tier thing. Creating connectors is an Enterprise-level feature, so the “Create for your team” tab will be empty on a Professional license. Professional users can use connectors that have been shared with them by an Enterprise user but can’t create new ones directly. The integration setup docs confirm that configuring integrations (creating action connectors, setting up knowledge bases, managing integration settings) is scoped to Enterprise. Professional is specifically limited to consuming connectors that have already been set up and shared.

For context, the current plan hierarchy goes Free, Plus, Professional ($20/user/month), then Enterprise ($40/user/month). Connector creation is one of the capabilities that’s scoped to Enterprise (more on plans here).

Something you can do is check if someone in your account already has an Enterprise license. They can create the Slack connector and share it with you. Otherwise, you’d need to upgrade. If your admin has enabled it, you might be able to request the upgrade yourself through the self-service license upgrade flow. Also take a look at the “Available” tab on the Connectors page, as some connectors with managed OAuth show up there ready to go without needing to go through the creation process.

Hope this helps!
