Using Agentic features with an Admin Pro account

Hi all,

I would like to start playing with QS agentic’s features (chatbot, automate etc.), to see if it makes sense to use them in our organization.

In the Quick Sight pricing page it says that this is possible to enable them with an Admin Pro account, so I switched my account to this type, yet I cannot see these features available.
I logged out and in again, and we are in a region supporting agentic capabilities.

I am pretty sure this is a dumb question, but how to I enable these features?

Thanks.

Hi @Massi and welcome back to the Quick Community!

On a few occasions, it may take some for your account to update the additional features that were added. Moreover, maybe try opening ‘Quick Suite’ instead of ‘Quick Sight’ from the AWS console and see if that makes a difference.

Additionally, here is some additional steps on how to activate the account and confirm that you have not missed any steps ( Signing up for an Amazon Quick Suite subscription - Amazon Quick Suite ).

Hi @JacobR,

Frst of all thank you so much for finding the time to reply to me.

I am sure that I am doing something wrong, or my expectations are not correct.

I am seeing some extra features, such as “Analyze this dashboard in a Scenario” or the dialogue “Transform your exported data into interactive insights using Quick Suite’s AI-powered Scenarios.” when downloading a file.
What I was expecting though was to see the options “Chat Agents”, “Spaces”, ”Flows” and “Research” on the left sidebar, yet I only see the QuickSight section.

I tried to use another user which has more permissions in the AWS ecosystem, opening Quick Site from the AWS console and setting the account as Admin Pro but still nothing.

Since I am now trying using another user I can wait a bit longer but I believe I am misunderstanding something, or doing something wrong.

As mentioned I know that this region provides the new Quick Suite features, and our account is Enterprise, so we should we covered. Is it really possible that it take days to have the features enabled?

Thanks.

Hi @Massi ,

So, features like Scenarios are native features to QuickSight. Features like chat agents, spaces, flows, etc. are strictly for users who have Quick Suite access. I know you mentioned opening QuickSight from the aws console but while QuickSight is in Quick Suite, the two are technically different. I would still recommend trying to open Quick Suite from the AWS console by searching Quick Suite in the search bar.

If you are still unable to see the full Quick Suite features, then I would recommend submitting a support ticket and the support team will be able to further investigate your situation. Please refer to this resource on how to submit a support ticket (Case management - AWS Support).

Hi @Massi,

Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime. Moreover, if you submitted a support ticket and it uncovered any findings, please feel free to share them!

If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.

Thank you
