I am concerned that my dataset (currently in a wide structure (containing many columns)) will slow dashboard performance for my users.
- What is the max columns I can have in a dataset before dashboard performance starts to become affected?
- Also, what is the Max number of visuals I am able to have displayed in one sheet of my dashboard?
Hey @huda.h.yazgi ,
for 1. Data source quotas - Amazon Quick Sight here you have the quotas for the datasets.
for 2. Adding visuals to Amazon Quick Sight analyses - Amazon Quick Sight the number of visuals
Performance is kind of hard to answer. With visuals it depends how complicated are your calculations, which visuals do you want to use etc. Same for the dataset, do you use spice or direct query, how is the dataset build etc.

Thank you for your response @robert.eibers . The datasets will be using SPICE and I worry If I continue to add columns to the dataset it will slow my performance. I plan on using the columns in calculated fields and parameters to all the user to select a combination of these columns.
@huda.h.yazgi ,
