Analyses Error

Getting below error in Analyses.dataset query working fine

Hi @suvarna0212,
Could you provide some additional context on how this error is occurring; are you receiving this message on every visual or specific visuals? Is there a specific field that’s linked to each visual where you’re receiving this error?
If so, what are the date/number fields being utilized here and what are the formats they’re in?

the error is occurring in one sheet.. as dataset is mapped in one sheet only.. it is limited to few fields only.. like CreatedBy ( string),createdTimestamp(Date) in analyses only i am getting error so have not published this sheet.. i see in SQL, these fields are not null, but have been inserted with Emptyy strings.. can this be an issue? i tried to use same sql query again in aws console-- creating a new dataset, the data is displayed in dataset.. and have created analyses, i can see data..of CreatedBy and createdTimestamp columns..

Hi @suvarna0212,
I just tried to recreate the error by adding blank values into a date column to see if they would populate on a visual. At the dataset layer, the blanks were replaced with ‘null’ and I had no issue having them display in a visual. Just to confirm, is your date field utilizing an accepted QuickSight format? You can find the supported date formats at the link provided below.

If you’ve confirmed that your format is supported, and the data is populating in the dataset view; this may be a bug and I would suggest creating a support ticket so that you can get more direct support from the AWS team.

Hi @suvarna0212,
Following up here as it’s been awhile since we last heard from you on this thread; were you able to create a support ticket for your case and if so, were they able to assist further?

If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.

Thank you

Hi @suvarna0212 - This is a data or calculated field issue. Please ensure you have preview the data before creating the analysis.
