Connect to rds in us-west-1

Hi,

We have rds instances in us-west-1 which is an unsupported region in AWS Quicksight. Would it be possible to use that as my dataset?

I have tried adding via vpc but it won’t show on the available vpcs. I also added an inbound rule for AWS quicksight (us-west-2 IP) in my rds but it still cannot connect.

I am new to quicksight and any help is appreciated. Thanks!

In parallel , please raise a ticket to AWS Customer support team so that they can have a chime session with you and fix the issue. To raise the ticket, please follow the below link - Creating support cases and case management - AWS Support
