Does quicksight natively supports the ability to switch datasets with same schema using a button or dashboard interaction?

Welcome to the Quicksight Community, it is great to have you here!

This cannot be done as far as I know from a button or action inside the dashboard.

If you want to change datasets, from inside the Analysis, with a dataset with the same schema, you need to edit the datasets

Select the 3 dots next to the dataset you want to replace and click Replace

Select the dataset you want to replace your data with and click Select

Then you can publish the dashboard with a different name and it will be using the new dataset.
