I am working on a quicksight widget of a donut chart. I can see all the labels after developing it but when I maximize the widget the labels are still there, the problem occurs when I minimize the widget back…the labels just disappear. is this a bug from Quicksigh or Am I missing anything? I did not experience this before. This started happening recently. Please help

From my experience working with donut charts, this may be more in line with a bug. With Donut charts (and Pie charts as well) in particular, I’ve noticed that the labeling does not always adjust to the size of your visual; I think it may be since there’s no ‘automatic’ setting for the text size of your labeling.
If your visual is too small to fit the labeling as it deems standard (based on your text size), it will not show some or all of your labels.
A few things you could try to work around this:
- Set your text size to ‘small’, this may allow it to populate based on your overall visual size.
- While this will change the appearance of the visual slightly, you can change the text position to be ‘inside’. This will place the text labeling on top of your pie chart sections, and stays within the visual when re-sizing much more often than if it’s not within.

Hi , I am again facing the same issue despite of adjusting the visual labels or size of the visual frame. Please help. This time the labels are not even appearing after maximizing the visual.
