Hi!
During development of the reports, I found out that the feature about custom values in filter list doesn’t work properly.
Let’s consider.
I set a filter, pin it to the top.
Then I go to …, edit, “Control options”.
Set parameters “Dropdown” and “Specific values”.
Define my specific values.
Trying to use my filter and choose the value from the list.
Here is the view when custom value is selected.
Expected result: on the top, I see the value I’ve chosen. Actual result: on the top, I see the value “All” every time.
Is it possible to fix it? Because it’s confusing for end-users of my dashboards and that’s not always clear that option is chosen and not the “All” parameter.

I think this behaviour you see is because you have a single value to select, therefore selecting the single value is translated to All since all the values are selected.
When you do have multiple selections it also shows them as a list when they are not all the possible options.
Would you like to, when there is only a single value to be shown in the box instead of All when it is a single value?
Hi! Thank you for the quick response.
Exactly.
Users of our QS reports ask us to have ability to see chosen option despite all where it is an only one option in the list.

You can format the visual and check “hide select all option”, this would hide the select all and will show you only the values, and if you click on show selected values, only selected fields will be displayed.
