It’s a known issue when using cascading controls like that. I don’t think there’s a solution for that yet. You have to manually reset the filter to clear the previous selection.

Reset child filter when parent resets

On filters where “show relevant values” is selected. The child filter doesn’t reset when I change the value(s) of the parent filter. The problem is when I change the parent filter my visuals show “No Data” until I manually reset the child. I’m concerned end users won’t know to do that; is there a way I can set the child to automatically reset when the parent filter is changed?

Reset filter control based on new selection in cascading filters

Scenario: I have 2 filter controls A and B, and B is configured to only show relevant values based on A. When I change my selection in A, the current selection in B is not relevant anymore and I have to reset it manually. It would be nice if B could get reset automatically.
