Format Control for Date filter - Style not available on some

I have created filters on a Date, and have added it to the top of the visual. Some I have been able to Style in the format controls, and others there is no option for Placement, Style or Rules in the Format control. Why?

All of them on sheet or in control area.

It is if I now add to sheet. On the format control, the last three options (Placement, Style and Rules) are no longer available. Different Visuals and different Analysis and within a sheet which had a previous Date filter added to sheet. If it didn’t exist before it doesn’t allow it now.

And sheet layout is “free form”?

Tiled. Is this why? Don’t understand why changing the colour of the filter display should be affected by tiled or free form sheet.

For me the options are only available for free-form.

yes, it’s painful. So is the fact I have to write 20 characters to respond ¦-| Thanks @ErikG

Can you solve the topic? As we can’t to anything except of using free form.
