I have a parameter filter using a custom service end-of-week data field. The week starts on Friday and ends on Thursday. In my analysis, I can see that the date filter is set to show data up to 15/08/2024, which is correct as I do not want to display data for the upcoming week. However, after publishing it as a dashboard, it shows data up to 22/08/2024.
Basically, according to the analysis setup, I should only be able to see data for the end of the week (22/08/2024) on that date or the following day. Why is the behavior in analysis different after publishing as dashboard?
I tried to republish the dashboard, but it didn’t work. However, it worked correctly after I deleted the existing dashboard and published it as a new dashboard. I’m not sure what is going on here.
It seems like your issue was related to a caching or synchronization discrepancy between the analysis and the dashboard version. When publishing, older settings or data might be retained, causing the filter behavior to differ. Replace or deleting the existing dashboard and republishing a new one likely forced a full refresh, clearing any inconsistencies.
If you encounter this issue again, you could try clearing the cache or explicitly resetting filters during the publishing process to ensure the dashboard reflects the correct date range.
