Is there a way to make chat agents public without individually adding colleagues? I’d like to scale the agent I built but do not want to have to add hundreds of users individually (and there are no groups I could find that capture the users I want to add). Any help would be super appreciated!
Hi @Connor_Anderson and welcome to the Quick Community!
One quick note, as this is a public user forum, we would not have access to assets located within a private account, so I would suggest against sharing those types of links!
In regards to chat agents, and the other new Agentic AI features, currently it is not possible to embed or share these outside of your account. To my understanding, this is a feature that is planned for implementation, however as Amazon does not disclose information regarding their current roadmap, I would be unable to provide a time frame of when to expect.
In the interim, I would suggest keeping an eye on the‘What’s New’ section of the community for all feature releases as they become available.
Hi @Brett thanks for the reply. I went ahead and updated my original post to remove that link.
Is there a way to share my agent with all of the Usernames within my account?
Hi @Connor_Anderson,
While there’s no designated toggle option/feature that allows you to share with every user, there are a few ways around it.
- When you open the agents page, select the ellipses (3 dots) next to the agent in question and select ‘view chat agent details’ and then it provides you with a link that you can copy/share with others so that they can access.
- Alternatively, you could create a group that holds all users, then share with that group.
Another note to add is that chat agents have the ability to be synced up with one of the other new features, ‘Spaces’. This would be more for a use case where you may have separate departments and design unique chat agents to handle each of those spaces.
Hi @Connor_Anderson ,
Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I wanted to see if the guidance shared earlier helped resolve your question, or if you found a solution in the meantime.
If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
Thank you
Hi @JacobR - thanks for reaching back out. There is a workaround I decided to use, and that is creating a flow instead of mass sharing my chat-agent by adding users 1 by 1. The flow I created is a single step and I used the same backend prompt that I used in the chat-agent. I was able to make the Flow public in one click.
The other challenge I have run into is that the Flow I created is only available to those signed in to the same region that the Flow was created again. It would be great if there was function to either share a Flow across regions, or duplicate a Flow across regions.
Hope this is helpful
Hi @Connor_Anderson,
Thank you for the feedback and the additional work around idea.
Regarding the sharing of a flow across regions, I’ll keep this marked as a feature request to promote that potential feature as well.
Thank you
