I created a chat agent, but I’m unable to add people or share the link. When I go to type their name, alias, or a TEAM name, nothing comes up.
How do I grant access to others?

Hello @jonkings
Welcome to Quick Community!!
Can you try adding their email address in the search bar and check if it works?
It just says “no users or groups found”
Hi @jonkings
Please check with Quick Suite admin to get their group name or email address of user to share.
Hi, the current way i see is to first make the recipient login to quicksuite first (mine is non-amazonbi account). Only then their name shows up in the box when you try to share.
Hi @msnehali
Is there a way to share to a group of people like (LDAP,POSIX group) our agent in quicksuite?
Hi @vamseep
You can share it with a Quick Suite group. You have to create a group within Quick: → Manage Account → Manage groups
Hi @jonkings
Just checking in as some time has passed since the last update on this thread. Did the information shared above help address your question?
Feel free to reach out if you need further clarification or have additional questions. If we don’t hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved.
Thank you.
Unfortunately, this is still an open issue. I don’t see anywhere to manage account or manage groups. Is there documentation on this?
Facing the same issue. Knowledge Bases & Chat Agents are not able to be shared, with alias’s needing to be added one at a time.
Hi @jonkings, here is our documentation on managing users within your Quick account, please note that you need to have administrator privileges to manage users and groups, and the method will depend on the authentication method chosen for the account.
These users and groups will need to be added to the account before you can share assets with them (like chat agents).
@caappel, if you are an administrator, you can also create Quick groups and share assets with the group rather than adding aliases one by one.
This is helpful. Will all amazon employees have the privilege to create their own quick account? I am using a common account name “amazonbi”. How can we unlock creating quick groups while using common accounts as i do?
Hope everything is well! Since this is a public user forum and I will not be able to check your organization’s user access configurations, I would recommend reaching to a respective IT admin or your internal channels, as they should be able to further assist in checking your access and managing your privileges accordingly based on your needs (including this use case).
Please let me know if this helps!
Just checking back in on this thread to see if you were able to view my most recent reply in regard to reaching out to an IT admin/internal channels. Please help the community by marking this answer as “Solution” or following up in general within the next 3 business days!
Thanks!
