Hi,
I am trying to build a parameter in which the drop-down value are same as another field. If new value is passed in the field like ‘team A’, then parameter automatically add that in the drop down.

I don’t think this is possible.
You can look into cascading filters but I don’t think that’s what you want.
I can mark this as a feature request.
Hi @Max , Is there are way in quickSight to edit the existing parameter list.
For example, I have created a parameter using control, with parameter name ‘Test1’ with drop-down list options as - ‘OPTION1’, and ‘OPTION3’. Now I want to add another option saying ‘OPTION2’. Or existing options say ‘OPTION3’ to ‘OPTION2’.
You’re saying you want to change these values based on a selection of a different parameter?
That is not possible.
Hi @Max, Yeah, I got it.
Asking a different question, for an existing parameter if I want to manually add, remove or edit the list value is it possible? If so, can you please guide on the same.
Yes you will be able to edit the already created parameter control buy choosing edit option as show below.
I am marking the reply as “Solution,” but let us know if this is not resolved.
