Quick Desktop Issue

Subject: Bug Report — Incorrect Icon & Missing Recipient in “Review & Send” Confirmation (Teams Connector)

Hi Team,

I’d like to report a UI bug in the Amazon Quick desktop app’s “Review & Send” confirmation dialog when sending messages via the Microsoft Teams connector.

Issue Summary

When sending a message through Teams, the confirmation card displays:

  1. Wrong icon — The Slack icon (colorful hashtag logo) is shown instead of the Microsoft Teams icon
  2. Missing recipient — The target is displayed as “Unknown target” instead of showing the recipient’s name

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Amazon Quick desktop app
  2. Ask the assistant to send a message to a contact on Teams (e.g., “Hi to Rajat on Teams”)
  3. Observe the “Review & Send” confirmation card that appears

Expected Behavior

  • The confirmation card should display the Microsoft Teams icon
  • The recipient’s name should be shown (e.g., “Sending message to Rajat Gupta”)

Actual Behavior

  • The Slack icon is displayed instead of the Teams icon

  • The target shows “Unknown target” instead of the recipient’s name

Environment

  • App: Amazon Quick (Desktop)
  • Connector: Microsoft Teams
  • Action: Send chat message (1:1 chat)

Hi @Shweta_Gupta,

This is an interesting case you found, and thank you for providing so much detail. I tried replicating this in our environment and wasn’t able to reproduce this error. I would recommend opening up a support ticket so that you could get further assistance, here is the link: Case management - AWS Support.

Hope this helps and feel free to share any updates on this issue with the community!
