QuickSight report export in a certain naming convention

I have a vertical report which user runs each month and export it into excel in their local machine. I want the name of the report which is getting exported in a certain format - let’s say if user is downloading profir&loss report in jan month then it should be profit&loss_202501, if the user is downloading it in feb month then it should be profit&loss_202502

Hi @bhumika18s ,
have you tried looking at the APIs?
This can be an option: StartDashboardSnapshotJob.

The idea can be creating a Lambda which launches this API at scheduled time and you can work a little bit more also on file names.

Without APIs is it possible, i don’t have this API activated in my organization. Can i achieve this by some formula or dynamic header kind of thing in analysis itself ?

so i want heading/title of the report to be dynamic - for example :- MTD Gross Sales_yyyymm…so whichever month the report gets run, it will give the output

Hi @bhumika18s,
This is not currently possible within QuickSight as there are no options to set the export file name.
I’ll mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
